The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen United States of America:
'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness...That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed...That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security'

AGAINST THE GRAIN is a multi-partisan activist group established to expose U.S. government deceptions and actions taken against its own people and to oppose the corruption in all of its manifestations.
As long as we pose no "REAL" threat to the powers-that-be, concerning the federal/state/local governmental juggernauts that have developed into an out-of-control colossal monster, we will continue to be ignored. Right now we are ignored because we present no organized power to fight the onslaught of anti-democratic governmental actions that we are up against. Perhaps people believe that since the US federal government has the fire power to blow up the world X times over that we have no chance and that the 2nd amendment is therefore moot.
I used to believe the same thing.
However it is a myth that US citizens are powerless against their government, a government that lately has moved beyond moderately sound reason and gradually usurped many of our constitutional rights. So I ask you...isn't it about time that CONCERNED AMERICANS exercise their 2nd amendment rights and got organized and prepared before it's too late?
We should remain committed to the absolute condemnation of individual acts of violence, terrorism and the loss of cherished liberties [EVERY SINGLE ONE!] based upon the false premise of security. Our goal is to make a future where ultimately the PEOPLE CAN and WILL directly decide!
